Chris T Miller
OD
 Christopher
Miller, O.D. is a native of West Des Moines, Iowa
where he graduated from Valley High School. He earned
his BS in Psychology, with a minor in Biology, from
the University of Iowa in 1999. He then graduated
Magna Cum Laude from the Illinois College of Optometry
in Chicago, Illinois, making Dean’s List 10 quarters
as well as being a member of Beta Sigma Kappa Honor
Fraternity, and Tomb and Key Honor Fraternity.
During his
externships Chris had extensive contact lens training,
including bifocal contact lens fitting. He also spent
significant time working with glaucoma patients.
Upon
graduation from Optometry College Dr. Miller practiced
in the Chicago, Illinois area for three years. In the
summer of 2006, he returned to the Des Moines area
where he entered private practice here with Associated
Ophthalmologists, PC.
His many
activities include volunteering with the Multiple
Sclerosis Society and the Dance Marathon Fundraiser.
He also is a member of the Private practice Club, the
Contact Lens Society, AOA Political Action Committee,
Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity, the Illinois Optometric
Association, and the Iowa Optometric Association.
Chris and
his wife, Paige, are the proud parents of a two year
old daughter, Chloe, who will soon be joined by
another sister. They are happy to be back near family.
Chris is
looking forward to practicing in the Des Moines area
using his experience and training in contact lenses,
glaucoma, dry eye, macular degeneration, and routine
eye examinations.
