Associated Ophthalmologists, PC recently added a Cirrus 4000 HD-OCT. The Cirrus 4000 HD-OCT is a diagnostic test that captures a scan of the eye in just 2.4 seconds, providing 2-D and 3-D images, layer segmentation, and optical biopsies for assessment of the retinal condition. This OCT automatically measures macular thickness, assesses the Optic Nerve Head, and RNFL. The Cirrus 4000 HD-OCT allows our doctors to monitor significant changes by providing qualitative and quantitative side-by-side comparison of retinal exams over time.
