Welcome to Family Eyewear!

Family Eyewear is a division of Associated Ophthalmologists P.C. The Optical shop opened its doors in September 1997 and has attempted to offer Des Moines some new choices in Eyewear. We have brought in some frame lines exclusive to the Des Moines area such as Lunor, Robert Marc, FreudenHaus, Matsuda, Swiss Horn, Face ä Face & Oliver Peoples. Our optical shop is staffed by ABO certified opticians; a distinction bestowed upon those who pass a rigorous test of their knowledge in the optical area. Family Eyewear offers a full line of services from adjustments and repairs, simple reading glasses and eye glasses and eyeglass chains to custom sun clips and designer frames. We will continue to strive to offer the best lenses for your particular prescription needs. Contact lenses are fit at our medical office, where we have NCLE certified technicians on staff.

Family Eyewear's hours are Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 5:00 pm and Saturdays from 8:00 to 12:00. We attempt to care for each individual customer in a personal manner. Each of you is important to us and we will strive to make your eyewear selection process a pleasant one.
