Associated Ophthalmologists, P.C., offers a full line of customized contact lenses and solutions for your eye care needs. Among the most popular contact lenses are the CSI soft contact lenses which are worn and removed on a  daily basis and the Ciba Dailes, which are a daily disposable and fast becoming extremely popular. We also fit many of our mature patients in Multifocal lenses, designed for those who need the additional convenience of a bifocal. Our NCLE certified technicians can help you with the decision making process and properly instruct you in the care and handling of your contact lenses.

We firmly believe that proper care of your contact lenses is the most important thing you can do for good eye health. Improperly cared for contact lenses are responsible for many minor eye irritations, as well as major complications such as corneal ulcers. The right care system for those who do not dispose of their lenses on a daily bases is very important and our staff is well trained in this area. Our technicians have developed a good sense of what gets you get off to the right start as far as instructing you in the insertion and the removal of contacts, diagnosing some of the problems associated with the difficulty in the wearing your present contact lenses and solutions remedies in some cases.

Our recommendation is an annual eye examination for those who wear contact lenses. We feel that anything as important as your vision and your eyes deserve the best of care and only through an annual exam can this be accomplished.

At the time of that exam we would also ask that you wear your contact lenses to the exam but bring your glasses and contact lens specifications and prescription with you from your previous doctor.
